- Experience as a CNC Programmer in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with CNC mills and/or lathes
- CNC Programmer
Preferred:
- Experience with CAD/CAM software (Mastercam, Fusion 360, SolidWorks CAM, or similar
- Multi-axis or Swiss machine programming experience
- Setup or hands-on machining experience
- Technical degree or equivalent work experience
Skills:
Understanding of G-code and CNC machining processes
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GDandT
Knowledge of tooling, materials, and machining techniques
Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Required Screenings: Drug Testing/Screening; Background Checks.
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to develop, optimize, and maintain CNC programs for production machining operations. This role is responsible for creating programs that ensure parts, maximize machine efficiency, and support production goals. The ideal candidate has technical knowledge, attention to detail, and experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs for mills, lathes, or multi-axis machines
- Interpret blueprints, CAD models, and technical drawings
- Select appropriate tooling, feeds, speeds, and machining strategies
- Collaborate with machinists, engineers, and supervisors to improve processes
- Troubleshoot machining issues and adjust programs as needed
- Ensure programs meet quality, tolerance, and safety standards
- Support new job setups, first article inspections, and production runs
- Maintain documentation and revision control of CNC programs
- Continuously improve cycle times and reduce scrap
