Job Description
A CNC Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machinery to produce precision metal or plastic parts. The role involves reading blueprints, setting up machines, performing quality checks, and ensuring production in a safe work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines (lathes, mills, or routers) to produce parts according to specifications.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders.
- Measure and inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and tolerances.
- Adjust machine settings, tools, and fixtures as needed to maintain accuracy.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and report malfunctions or defects.
- Maintain a clean and safe working area.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
- Record production data and complete required documentation.
