Position Details:

• Location: Bardmoor Surgery Center, 8787 Bryan Diary Rd, Largo, FL 33777

• Status: Part time, 48 hours per biweekly pay period

• Shift: Variable

Summary:

The Charge Procedural RN responsibilities include:

• RN is proficient in the care of a sub-specialty group of patients utilizing effective managerial skills

• RN acts as a professional role model for other members of the nursing team

• RN is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization

• RN acts as a mentor and resource expert, supports and shares organizational information to all team members.

• RN performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse.

This position requires a minimum of two years RN experience. We prefer at least 1 year of Critical Care experience as an RN. RN PACU experience is strongly preferred. Charge experience is preferred.

Certifications and Licensures:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RN (Registered Nurse)

• ACLS (Cardiovascular)

• PALS

• Preferred Nurse Specialty

Education:

• Bachelor's Nursing or Bachelor's Science in related field

• Or Associate's Nursing or Nursing Diploma and applicable Nationally recognized, professional RN certification in related field

Experience:

• Required 2 years acute care experience or 2 year Interventional/Procedural experience

• Preferred Experience includes 1 year Interventional/Perioperative Internship.

Specific Skills:

• Clinical skills appropriate to position

• Interpersonal skills
