Aerotek Warehouse Team Leader in Lansing, Michigan

Warehouse Team Leader | Multiple Openings | Lansing, MI Area

Lead from the floor. Keep operations moving. Support your team.

We’re partnering with several distribution and manufacturing employers in the Lansing area seeking experienced Warehouse Team Leaders to oversee daily warehouse operations and support frontline teams.

These roles are well‑suited for hands‑on leaders who understand warehouse workflows, value safety and productivity, and enjoy coaching others.

What These Roles Typically Involve

  • Lead and support a team of warehouse associates during daily operations

  • Assign work, monitor productivity, and help resolve workflow issues

  • Ensure safe operation of warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.)

  • Support shipping, receiving, picking, packing, and inventory activities

  • Train new team members and reinforce standard work and safety practices

  • Communicate priorities and updates between supervisors and associates

  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment

Skills & Experience Employers Are Seeking

  • Prior experience in a warehouse or distribution environment

  • Experience in a lead, team lead, or relief supervisor role preferred

  • Strong understanding of warehouse processes and flow

  • Ability to motivate, coach, and support a diverse team

  • Solid attendance and reliability history

  • Comfortable working scheduled shifts, including off shifts or weekends as needed

Preferred (Varies by Opening)

  • Forklift or powered industrial truck experience or certification

  • Experience with inventory systems or warehouse management systems (WMS)

  • Experience in shipping/receiving or order fulfillment

  • Manufacturing or high‑volume distribution experience

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lansing, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
