National Dentex On Call Delivery Driver in Lansing, Michigan

Description

Join National Dentex - a leading healthcare organization specializing in the dental industry! We offer a full spectrum of specialized products, services, and technologies to address any dental restoration need. Currently, we have 50 labs throughout the country. We are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this On Call Delivery Driver opportunity at NDX Dental Art Laboratory in Lansing, MI.

The regular hours for this position are from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, on call, working up to three (3) alternating days of the week between Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:

  • Learn delivery route(s) as assigned

  • Provide daily deliveries and pick-ups as requested and assigned

  • Disinfect cases returned to lab

  • Represent the laboratory with courtesy, respect and focus

  • Advise appropriate lab contact with any office concerns, doctor communications, etc.

  • Clean work area (vehicle) daily

  • All other duties as assigned

  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English

Minimum Education and Experience Required:

  • Valid driver’s license and able to maintain an acceptable driving record

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred

Hazardous Materials or Equipment Used:

  • Additional materials or equipment, as required

  • Personal protective equipment, as required

  • Automobile

Physical Requirements:

  • Physical stamina to drive for extended periods of time

  • Regularly required to drive, sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel and/or reach

  • Repeatedly getting in and out of an automobile multiple times a day

  • Ability to read required documentation

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

  • Fine motor skills and ability to perform repetitive motions

  • Vision capabilities, including depth perception, attention to detail, and color
