National Dentex On Call Delivery Driver in Lansing, Michigan
Description
Join National Dentex - a leading healthcare organization specializing in the dental industry! We offer a full spectrum of specialized products, services, and technologies to address any dental restoration need. Currently, we have 50 labs throughout the country. We are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this On Call Delivery Driver opportunity at NDX Dental Art Laboratory in Lansing, MI.
The regular hours for this position are from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, on call, working up to three (3) alternating days of the week between Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.
Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:
Learn delivery route(s) as assigned
Provide daily deliveries and pick-ups as requested and assigned
Disinfect cases returned to lab
Represent the laboratory with courtesy, respect and focus
Advise appropriate lab contact with any office concerns, doctor communications, etc.
Clean work area (vehicle) daily
All other duties as assigned

Minimum Education and Experience Required:
Valid driver’s license and able to maintain an acceptable driving record
High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
Hazardous Materials or Equipment Used:
Additional materials or equipment, as required
Personal protective equipment, as required
Automobile
Physical Requirements:
Physical stamina to drive for extended periods of time
Regularly required to drive, sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel and/or reach
Repeatedly getting in and out of an automobile multiple times a day
Ability to read required documentation
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Fine motor skills and ability to perform repetitive motions
Vision capabilities, including depth perception, attention to detail, and color
