Impression 5 Science Center Maintenance Tech in Lansing, Michigan
Position Duties:
- Perform daily facility cleaning task, checks and inventory.
- Perform daily maintenance of exhibits and the exhibit area, including daily inspection, repair and cleaning.
- Opens and closes exhibit area, fills and cleans the Water and Bubbles exhibits.
- Assists in other areas of Science Center operation, such as preparation and setup for special events, preparation for group visits and rentals.
- Maintenance of grounds -- snow/ice removal, trimming, general landscaping.
- Assist in the fabrication and installation of new exhibits as well as set-up/tear-down of traveling exhibits.

Position Requirements:
- Must be familiar with use and safety operations of all common hand tools and power tools.
- Must be a creative problem-solver who is motivated to learn new skills.
- Must have excellent communication skills.
- Must be able to multi-task projects with complex timelines.
- Must be able to perform physical operations, including operating computer equipment, bending, climbing stairs and ladders and operating a motor vehicle. Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Must have ability to lift reasonable weights.
