State of Michigan-DTMB ITPA12 Senior Application Developer in Lansing, Michigan
The Department of Technology, Management and Budget{target="blank" rel="noopener" uw-rm-brl="PR" uw-original-href="https://youtu.be/HIrVnVjcoA" aria-label="Department of Technology, Management and Budget - open in a new tab" uw-rm-ext-link=""} supports the business operations of state agencies through a variety of services, including building management and maintenance, information technology, centralized contracting and procurement, budget and financial management, space planning and leasing, construction management, motor vehicle fleet operations, and oversight of the state retirement systems. This position is with the Agency Services area of DTMB.
This position functions as Senior Application Developer to serve as the technical liaison for various teams with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) in supporting their Eligibility applications and reports. This position assists with the delivery of business intelligence solutions, via the development of Business Objects reports, to business partners to facilitate their ability to make better informed business decisions. This resource will be responsible for mastering knowledge of the business practices, workflows, performance indicators, and predictive factors related to Eligibility areas of MDHHS to best serve our customers. The resource will also work with other analysts and developers to review existing policies and practices, particularly as pertaining to the modeling, mapping, and presentation of data and information, and modify them as needed and propose new policies or practices.

SIGNING BONUS:
This position may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $2,500. Up to $1,250 to be paid upon new hire and the remainder to be paid after satisfactory completion of the initial probationary period (12-month period). This does not apply to current state employees.

*Position Location/Remote Office: *The office location is Lansing, MI. The State of Michigan is not able to offer employment to out-of-state applicants that do not plan to relocate. The Department of Technology Management and Budget currently offers a hybrid work option which requires two days working on-site at the official work location and three days of remote work per week.
