This position is responsible for teaching courses in Building Construction and Construction Management Eaton Regional Education Service Agency (ERESA) program, which may include estimating, scheduling, materials and methods, construction technologies, building information modeling, and other construction topics consistent with current developments in the discipline and teaching methods. The incumbent will work with the Construction Management, Building Construction, Architecture, and Civil Technologies programs and participate in program/department meetings and divisional/college-wide committees with a focus on continual improvement of programs and learning outcomes. Other duties include participation in curriculum and course development, tutoring and advising students, mentoring and reviewing peers, and involvement in shared governance of the College. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to the diversity of a multi-cultural population and work effectively in a team-based environment, seeking continuous improvement and adherence to the community college philosophy.

The incumbent in this position will teach high school students in a college setting through the ERESA Building Construction program. Further, the incumbent will also attend Eaton Intermediate School District/ERESA in-service meetings, conduct student progress meetings with parents, maintain State of Michigan curriculum quality program documents (TRAC/CIP) up-to-date, attend award ceremonies, attend Building Construction faculty meeting
