This position requires an on-campus presence with little to no remote-work opportunities.

The coordinator will work collaboratively with the Director of Nursing for clinical, lab, and simulation and faculty to coordinate and maintain the highest caliber of practical training in the simulation and nursing lab environment. This position will also assist the Director of Nursing for clinical, lab, and simulation with the recruitment, orientation, training, and mentoring of simulation and lab faculty for nursing and simulation labs. This position will assist the faculty and the Director of Nursing clinical, lab and simulation in coordination of lab, simulation and clinical student rosters. Design and assist programming of simulation scenarios; update scenarios, scenario materials, and all associated simulation area materials, equipment and supplies. Collaboratively with Director of Nursing clinical, lab, and simulation oversee simulation technical specialist, daily personnel and duties concerning labs and simulations. Train and schedule standardized patients and student volunteers for simulation labs. Compiles student evaluation data to present findings to the nursing curriculum committee as appropriate. Sends out student evaluation feedback to adjunct faculty. Provides input on simulation and nursing lab equipment needs to the Nursing leadership team as needed. The position requires exceptional verbal and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with students and the administrative, technical, and nursing faculty. Coordinators must be knowledgeable about each area, higher education best practices, and accreditation processes. Participate in departmental, divisional teams and in college-wide committees as requested. Work effectively with other faculty, administrators and staff in a rapidly changing team environment. Support and contribute to diversity and student success initiatives. Remain current in subject area and teaching methodologies by incorporating relevant safety, quality, and evidenced-based practice recommendations.
