Overview
Enterprise Application Developer Objective
To research, analyze, design, develop, test and implement automated applications systems which support the business needs of the Farm Bureau Insurance Companies.
Responsibilities
Enterprise Application Developer Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and build/implement new integration services between enterprise systems and third parties in a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
Design, develop, test, and build/implement computer applications of all sizes and complexity.
Assist with estimation, planning, and breakdown of project tasks.
Qualifications
Enterprise Application Developer Qualifications
* Required*
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field required, or equivalent experience may be considered.
Minimum two years programming and/or systems analysis background required.
Current knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, program language(s) and tools, testing techniques and tools, and program specification and interpretation required.
Working knowledge of systems design and analysis tools and techniques required.
Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, succinctly and in a manner that appeals to a wide audience required.
Willingness to pursue continuing job related training and education in systems and insurance required.
Preferred
Experience at Farm Bureau, or a similar business, in computer information technology preferred.
