Smurfit Westrock 3rd Shift Rewind Operator in Lansing, Michigan
GENERAL PURPOSE: Inspect and rewind each job for quality and compliance to customer specifications.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
\u2022 Calibrate tabletop counter
\u2022 Visually inspects labels for defects.
\u2022 Splices rolls together using scissors and tape.
\u2022 Slits down jobs.
\u2022 Make core/shipper labels and Certificate of Compliance.
\u2022 Follows pharmaceutical procedures.
\u2022 Sets up the 100% Visual inspection kit.
\u2022 Splices rolls together using splicing table, following customer splicing specifications.
\u2022 Performs system maintenance.
\u2022 Follows GMP\u2019s (paperwork)
\u2022 Follows procedures to setup and operate back numbering equipment.
\u2022 Performs other job duties as assigned.
\u2022 Work in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS:
\u2022 High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred
\u2022 Must have the ability to read and write in English, and ability to interpret documents, such as instructions, correspondence, safety rules and procedure manuals.
\u2022 Must understand basic mathematics, such as reading a ruler, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
\u2022 Must be able to maintain good attendance.
\u2022 Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
\u2022 Must be able to perform all essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
