Description
Our client is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to join their team in Lansing, Illinois. This role involves overseeing various aspects of project execution, ensuring operations run smoothly, and maintaining effective communication with both internal teams and customers. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced industrial environment. CONSTRUCTION ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate schedules for field staff to guarantee projects are completed on time.
• Prepare and review proposals for upcoming projects, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and concerns, fostering high levels of satisfaction.
• Monitor inventory levels and order necessary materials to support project needs.
• Handle billing processes, including pricing and work order management.
• Analyze field employees’ reports, logs, account data, photos, and routes for accuracy.
• Communicate effectively with installers, customers, and the general public to address issues or provide guidance.
• Inspect completed work and review daily meter tickets to ensure quality standards are met.
• Approve time-off requests for payroll purposes and ensure proper documentation.
• Promote safety compliance and enforce adherence to company policies and regulations.
Position Details:
Hours: 7:00AM-3:30PM
$65,000-$90,000 (no bonus)
100% premium covered for health and dental for employee and family

Requirements • Proficiency in scheduling tools and project timeline management.
• Strong knowledge of budget processes and cost control practices.
• Experience in construction project management or related industrial fields.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues effectively.
• Ability to prepare detailed proposals and manage deliverables.
• Familiarity with order management systems and inventory control.
• Competence in reviewing time cards and other payroll-related documents.
