Saint-Gobain Maintenance Manager in L'ANSE, Michigan

CertainTeed Ceilings, a division of TOP GLOBAL EMPLOYER Saint-Gobain, has an excellent career opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team.

This position is based in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, known for incredible fishing, hunting, and variety of outdoor activities.

What's the job?

  • Provide sound leadership to Maintenance Team as they maximize reliability of plant equipment.

  • Be leader of professional maintenance-oriented improvement projects moving us from reactive at times to proactive.

  • Incorporate World Class Manufacturing (WCM) techniques and principles into all maintenance systems.

  • Develop and maintain a proactive preventative maintenance program focused on reducing unplanned machine down time.

  • Develop solid working relationships across all plant personnel.

  • Minimal travel required.

  • Provide sound leadership to Maintenance Team as they maximize reliability of plant equipment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree is required in Engineering or related technical discipline.

  • 10 years manufacturing environment experience preferred.

  • Experience working in a complex maintenance leadership role interfacing with the Plant Leadership Team, corporate Manufacturing Performance Team, and unionized plant employees.
