Job Title: Pharmacist
Department: Inpatient Pharmacy
Employment Type: Per Diem
Shift: PRN per department needs; minimum commitment for this position is working every 4th weekend (Saturday and Sunday) and working 2-3 holiday/year. Additional shifts can be picked up as available. Training takes about 4 weeks, working full-time hours. It is preferred to have an open schedule to allow for adequate training.

Position Purpose
Prepares and dispenses medications and other pharmaceutical supplies, using standard professional procedures to fill written or verbal physician orders. Performs all duties of a pharmacist providing professional and ethical service to the patients and employees of the hospital. Adheres to all departmental and hospital policies and procedures.
- Job functions include, but not limited to: order verification, pharmacokinetic monitoring and dosing, attending emergent responses to prepare medications and recommend dosing, clinical initiatives such as IV to PO interchanges, microbiology culture review and recommendations, and providing drug information.
Minimum Qualifications:
PharmD Diploma
PA Pharmacist License
PGY1 (preferred)
