Trinity Health Nursing Assistant ICU Days in Langhorne, Pennsylvania

Position Purpose: * *   

  

The Nursing Assistant (uncertified, certified, unlicensed, or licensed) works in a collaborative environment at St. Mary Medical Center to provide safe, quality health care services & / or assistance to patients under the supervision & direction of a registered nurse or other designated health care professional in accordance with level of experience, education, policies & procedures.  Must have additional training through the achievement of in-house certifications or have successful completion of role specific certification or licensing.

   

What You Will Do: * *   

  • Employment Type/Shift: Part Time Days

  • As delegated by a licensed nurse, performs basic to complex patient care needs and essential duties appropriate to role/function.

  • Participates in direct one-to-one patient observation to maintain a safe & therapeutic environment.

  • Engages in therapeutic communication and assists nurses & designated health care professional in keeping detailed records, maintaining clear communication between the entire care team & working with patients & families.

  • May serve as a resource (lead), role model & / or mentor.

       

Minimum Qualifications: *  * * *

  • Currently enrolled in high school, completing a GED, or obtained a high school diploma or GED.

  • Specialty license, certification, training, or experience according to assignment area in the applicable state(s) of engagement.

  • Valid driver’s license where required by assignment.
