ND job order 924344 Temporary seasonal position from 3/15/2026 to 11/30/2026 The workers will assist with a variety of crop production tasks essential to the farm's seasonal operations. During the spring, they will help prepare fields by fertilizing, tilling, and planting crops such as wheat, canola, soybeans, sunflowers, and corn. Workers will operate and maintain farm equipment including tractors, sprayers, combines, and trucks used for transporting inputs and harvested grain. They will assist with crop protection and fertilizer application and perform general farm labor such as moving grain, cleaning equipment, maintaining grain bins, and servicing machinery to ensure optimal performance throughout the season. During the summer months, duties will include transporting water and crop protection products, field scouting for crop monitoring, and other general labor tasks as needed. In the fall, workers will participate in harvesting activities, operate harvesting equipment, and transport crops from the field to storage. After harvest, they will assist with cleaning equipment, preparing storage areas, and performing fall tillage to ready the fields for the next season. Workers may also assist with farm maintenance such as fencing, rock picking, and other basic tasks supporting infrastructure. All tasks are performed under the supervision of the farm manager or designated supervisors in alignment with seasonal weather patterns and crop production timelines. Employees will be provided with adequate breaks, including meal and rest periods, consistent with applicable Federal, State, and local law, during the course of each workday. No experience is required. Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion. Operator License Class D Candidate will have 60 days to obtain. The employer follows all federal regulations, including 20 CFR 653.501, when hiring. They retain final say over who is hired and will pay the highest wage required based on Adverse Effect Wage Rates (AEWR) or state minimum wage, depending on housing provisions and skill level. Workers receiving free housing may be paid a lower hourly wage that includes a housing credit, as permitted by the Department of Labor. No additional deductions for housing can be made.
