Full-Time Qualifications One year of specialized paid or unpaid experience gained after your16th birthday and related to the food industry (e.g., experienceproviding supervision or management in a food, poultry, or livestockbusiness; chef or cook at a commercial restaurant or kitchen, in ameat or poultry slaughter, processing, or other food manufacturing plant, meat cutter/butcher, quality control/lab, veterinarytechnician); skill in collecting samples and examinations, writtenreports and reporting results orally. or B.S. degree or full 4-year course of study leading to a Bachelorsdegree from an accredited college/university that includes at least24 semester hours in agriculture, biological, or physical sciences,food technology, nutrition, epidemiology, pharmacy, or engineering. or A combination of education and specialized experience that meets100 percent of the requirements for qualification.

Job Summary:
$5,000 Sign on Bonus, Creditable Service for Annual Leave Accrual, Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program, Accelerated Promotion Program, and Referral Bonus Awards are available.
