LOCATION : Lancaster General Health and various Outpatient Centers in Lancaster, PA
SIGN-ON BONUS: Up to $10,000.00 prorated on hours worked per week with a 2-year commitment. Internal and external eligible candidates only.
AVAILABLE POSITIONS:
Full-time (40 hours/week)
Monday, Wednesday, & Thursday: 10:00 a.m.–8:30 p.m.; Friday: 8:30 a.m.–7:00 p.m. at Kissel Hill Outpatient Center.
Up to 5 backup weekend on-call rotations per year at Lancaster General Hospital (LGH) or Suburban Outpatient Pavilion (SOP).
Up to 1 backup holiday on-call rotation every other year.
Full-time (40 hours/week)
Tuesday-Friday, 4-10 hours shifts from 11:00am-9:30pm at SOP
Up to 5 weekend on-call rotations per year at LGH or SOP
Up to 2 holidays per year at LGH
Up to 1 backup holiday on-call rotation every other year at LGH
Full-time (40 hours/week)
Monday–Friday between 6:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m. at SOP
Up to 5 backup weekend on-call rotations per year at LGH
Up to 1 backup holiday on-call rotation every other year at LGH
Full-time (36 hours/week)
Friday (POC), Saturday, and Sunday (LGH): 7:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m.
Up to 2 scheduled holidays per year at LGH

Wednesday-Friday from 7pm-7:30am at LGH
Up to 2 holidays per year

Monday and Wednesday: 11:00 a.m.–9:30 p.m. at SOP.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the radiologist, the MR technologist performs a variety of MR procedures on pediatric and adult patients. They have the ability to perform all MR procedures requiring sound understanding of anatomical positioning, magnetic field safety and cross-sectional anatomy.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Obtains patient history, explains the procedure, gains consent for contrast material administration and address any patient concerns prior to beginning the procedure.
Performs all necessary checks for accuracy of the prescription, precertification/authorization if required by individual insurance companies, Soarian order and patient identification.
Perform all MR procedures following the appropriate imaging protocols.
Compiles and reviews images, provides applicable comparison studies, and prepares documentation for interpretation.
Performs quality control testing as required.
Clean, adjust and perform routine maintenance on equipment; stock and replenish supplies as required.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic technologists (ARRT).
Advanced level certification in MRI (MR) within 1 (one) year of hire.
