Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4pm, no weekends or holidays.
Summary:
Position Summary: Responsible for coordinating all aspects of the clinical credentialing application process for independent practitioners, to include the application request via the CVO and intermittent follow-up to ensure timing completion for final approval. Duties include coordinating privilege requests with Credentials Governance Coordinator.
Qualified individuals must have the ability with or without reasonable accommodation to perform the following duties:
Submits initial credentialing application request
Communicates process with providers and clinical office contacts via phone and or email
Works with CVO systems such as: PCMS Medview, ECHO
Assists providers with application via phone or in person to ensure accurate completion
Communicates with CVO Application, Verification, and Evaluation Teams regarding issues requiring intervention
-Reviews Application Dashboard consistently to ensure application process flow
The following duties are considered secondary to the primary duties listed above:
Adheres to all Standard Operating Procedures for CVO and LGH MSO
Promotes Quality Awareness
Independently seeks and obtains required knowledge skills
Other assigned duties as required as assigned by MSO manager.
Responsibilities:
Minimum Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent GED
Five 5 years of experience as a Medical Secretary or equivalent .
Certification as a Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist CPCS , issued by the National Association of Medical Staff Services.
Strong computer skills and thorough knowledge of standard office software such as Microsoft Excel, Word, Access and Power Point.
Coordinate multiple tasks and while maintaining flexibility in order to balance changing priorities while meeting deadlines and achieving goals
