ManpowerGroup Production Engineering Supervisor in Lancaster, Ohio
Our client is seeking a Production Supervisor to join their team. The Production Supervisor coordinates the daily production activities of the Production Associates working in his/her respective production line(s) with respect to job assignment and job rotation to ensure quality standards and production
schedules are achieved.
Job Title: 1st Shift Production Supervisor
Location: Lancaster, OH area
What’s the Job?
Coordinates daily production activities including job assignments and rotations.
Meets with the Team Leader prior to shift start-up to understand the current line and production state, absentee/tardiness call-ins, and changes to normal employee work areas/equipment.
Together with the Team Leader, holds daily pre-shift meetings to inform Production Associates of any changes, to communicate daily requirements and to promote involvement in issues affecting employees or their work areas.
Ensures TPM/Daily Care activities, safety checks, tip changes, etc. are completed properly and as scheduled
What’s Needed?
Minimum 3 years manufacturing/operations experience.
Knowledge of and basic skills in lean manufacturing principles and problem solving methods.
Understand basic OSHA and safety practices in a manufacturing environment.
