Confidential IT Systems Administrator in Lancaster, Ohio

Job Responsibilities:

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Degree in Computer Science, or related discipline with 3 years work-related experience in a similar position.
  • Minimum 3 - 5 years experience. Manufacturing or automotive manufacturing experience needed.
  • CMS experience is an asset.
  • Experience working in both an office and automotive manufacturing environment is desired.
  • Extensive hands on experience with the analysis, evaluation, implementation, and support of application hardware, software and security systems.
  • Strong technical background with an emphasis on the administration of operating systems, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SQL Server and complex TCP/IP networks
  • Experience implementing and supporting third-party applications, including server, client and upgrades. 
  • Experienced with the following: RDBMS -- MS SQLServer, C#, VB.Net, ASP.Net, ERP, routers, switches, VLAN management, WiFi, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, HTTP, WEP/WPA
  • The following are considered assets: Reporting Tools -- SQL Server Reporting Services, WinForms, ASP.NET MVC, Razor, SSIS, LINQ, MRP/ERP systems, EDI, PLC network integration
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and with a variable workload.
  • Strong organisational, planning, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrate a maturity of judgement, leadership skills, attention to detail and exceptional organizational, listening, communication and presentation skills in all aspects of the job function.
  • Ability to work flexible hours in a fast-paced environment in order to meet customer requirements.
