South Central Power Company IT Intern in Lancaster, Ohio
South Central Power Company is offering a paid summer internship within our Information Technology Department. This position will prepare college students for entry into a business environment by providing opportunities to learn more about the information technology field. The purpose of the internship is to provide hands on experience in a business setting.
The IT Intern will assist with the testing, training and deployment of company-wide artificial intelligence and data analytics tools. Interns will also have the opportunity to job shadow a variety of tasks and procedures in which they’ll learn valuable information. Candidates must be self-motivated with strong technological and analytical skills and have a desire to further develop their knowledge of the Information Technology and Data Analytics field(s). Students in their junior or senior year majoring in Information Technology, Data Analytics, Computer Science, and Telecommunications are encouraged to apply.
This internship is expected to last a period of three to six months. A schedule will be determined based on the qualified candidate’s needs.
