About this role: The Senior Manufacturing Quality Engineer plays a critical role in leading quality assurance activities across manufacturing and administration operations. This position provides technical leadership, mentorship, and process ownership while ensuring compliance with AS9100. This is a manufacturing quality leadership role — not software QA. The focus is on production and administration processes, audits, inspections, supplier quality, and continuous improvement.
This role is ideal for a quality professional who wants to grow into a Quality Management or Quality Leadership position.
What you will do:
Quality Engineering Leadership
Provide day-to-day technical guidance and mentorship to Quality Engineers and Technicians
Coordinate and prioritize quality activities to support production schedules and quality objectives
Partner closely with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, Customer Experience and Leadership to drive quality performance
Review, update, and optimize quality procedures, work instructions, and documentation to support effective and efficient processes
Nonconformance, CAPA & Continuous Improvement
Lead investigations into internal and customer-reported nonconformances
Drive root cause analysis, containment, and sustainable corrective actions
Analyze quality data and performance metrics to identify risks and improvement opportunities
Champion continuous improvement initiatives within administration and manufacturing operations
Audits, Customers & Suppliers
Lead internal audits and support audit follow-up activities
Coordinate and support external, customer, and certification audits
Serve as a primary Quality representative during customer visits and audits
Act as a liaison with suppliers and customers to resolve quality issues effectively

What You’ll Need to Succeed
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related technical field
5+ years of Senior Quality Assurance experience in manufacturing quality or production environments
Practical experience with ISO 9001-based QMS (AS9100 preferred)
Strong practical knowledge of audits, inspections, CAPA, and supplier quality
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
Preferred:
Experience mentoring or leading other quality professionals
Strong problem-solving and data analysis skills
ASQ certifications (CQA, CQE) are a plus
Work Authorization
Due to business and customer requirements, candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.Salary ranges for this position are determined based upon the job location and can be adjusted based upon experience, reflecting our commitment to valuing the expertise and contributions of our individual team members. Salary for this role is $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year based upon experience.
