Lancaster. Try-It Distributing. Merchandiser. $17 - $18/hour.

Responsible for building and maintaining off-premise product displays including appearance, rotation, and rebates. Works under the supervision of Merchandising Supervisor. Takes direction and training from Merchandising Team Leader.

The successful candidate will: * Successfully complete New Hire Safety and Job Skill Training Program per Department Managers satisfaction * Successfully complete Job Share Ride-A-Longs prior to starting on your own in the Trade * Communicate on a daily basis with Sales Team and Managers to verify completion of daily work assignments

Key Relationships: Internal: * Work with Sales Team, Department Managers and coworkers to implement department goals * Contribute and participate in the company wide morale initiative * Train with coworkers and supervisors to develop best practices in the trade

External: * Develop and promote positive relations with store Managers

Essential Functions (must be able to be performed with or without reasonable accommodation):
* Greets storeowner or manager for any specific merchandising instructions, sings in at each account. * Displays merchandise to satisfy customers needs, emphasizes selling points such as quality and quantity. * Places new merchandising on display * Organize shelves and displays to promote first-in/first-out product rotation. * Organize customers back room, neat, clean, and to customers satisfaction. * Take inventory of stock and report low volumes and out-of-stocks. * Assist with team res-sets as needed. * Work as a team with delivery drivers and Sales Representatives to provide best possible customer service to all clients. * Communicate daily with Sales Representative to address issues such as; discrepancies, new programs, new items, and out-of-stocks. * Maintain current and themed POS to ensure maximum account coverage. * Adhere to all standards in Sales Manual including but not limited to product rotation, maintain POS, organize inventory reporting of what is needed, facing off cooler and shelves.

Qualifications: * Must have a valid drivers license, a good driving record, and access to a motor vehicle that has the capacity to transport POS during all working hours to be able to travel to multiple work locations as directed.
* Must be at least 18 years old. * Ability to read labels and comprehend various coding systems.

Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds and frequently lift up to 30 lbs.

Work Environment: The work environment is indoors but the employee is required to frequently work in a refrigerated atmosphere.
