Assistant Controller for a privately held Manufacturing company.
Job Summary: * Works directly with the President and management team providing financial input on company issues. * Responsible for managing accounting records for four affiliated companies. * Handle Month and Year End closings with Financial Statement reporting. * Manage accounting department including AP, AR, Order Processing and payroll functions. * State and Federal Government compliance reporting. * Liaison with outside firms: Legal, Accounting, Insurance and Banking * Developing and maintaining Budgets and Forecasts * Other responsibilities include: Product Pricing, managing Monthly Cash flow, Hiring and training accounting staff.
Qualifications: * 5+ years experience in the accounting field with most recent role in management. * Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance. * Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills. * Strong knowledge of GAAP and business accounting processes.
