Aerotek State Certified Electrician - Solar in Lancaster, California

Job Summary

We are seeking a State‑Certified Electrician with hands-on solar experience to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair photovoltaic (PV) systems for utility and/or commercial projects. This role requires strong electrical expertise, deep knowledge of solar systems, and strict adherence to safety and code compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, inspect, maintain, and repair solar PV systems , inverters, batteries, and related electrical components

  • Perform electrical work in compliance with NEC, state, and local codes

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and one‑line diagrams

  • Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization

  • Coordinate with project managers, inspectors, and other trades on-site

  • Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and documentation standards

  • Provide support during inspections and commissioning

  • Maintain tools, materials, and job-site cleanliness

Required Qualifications

  • Active State Electrician Certification - General

  • 2+ years of solar PV installation experience (residential and/or commercial)

  • Strong knowledge of AC/DC systems, inverters, combiner boxes, and battery storage

  • Familiarity with NEC Article 690 and solar-related electrical codes

  • Ability to work at heights, rooftops, and outdoor environments

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Lancaster, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $90.00/hr.
