Aerotek State Certified Electrician - Solar in Lancaster, California
Job Summary
We are seeking a State‑Certified Electrician with hands-on solar experience to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair photovoltaic (PV) systems for utility and/or commercial projects. This role requires strong electrical expertise, deep knowledge of solar systems, and strict adherence to safety and code compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
Install, inspect, maintain, and repair solar PV systems , inverters, batteries, and related electrical components
Perform electrical work in compliance with NEC, state, and local codes
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and one‑line diagrams
Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
Coordinate with project managers, inspectors, and other trades on-site
Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and documentation standards
Provide support during inspections and commissioning
Maintain tools, materials, and job-site cleanliness
Required Qualifications
Active State Electrician Certification - General
2+ years of solar PV installation experience (residential and/or commercial)
Strong knowledge of AC/DC systems, inverters, combiner boxes, and battery storage
Familiarity with NEC Article 690 and solar-related electrical codes
Ability to work at heights, rooftops, and outdoor environments
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

This is a Contract position based out of Lancaster, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $90.00/hr.
