Education/Training: High School Diploma or equivalent with at least one year of retail cash handling experience.Skill(s): Proficient in English, reading, writing, and grammar skills; proficient analytical and mathematics skills; proficient communication, interpersonal relations, and customer service skills; proficient PC skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and job-related software applications; ability to operate various office machines; strong team player.Experience: A minimum of one (1) year of related experience is required.General ResponsibilitiesResponsible for providing exceptional service to all existing and potential customers. Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons.Essential Duties1.Performs various duties to support the paying, receiving and relationship function of the branch office of which the following are illustrative:a. Greets and serves customers in a friendly and courteous manner. b.Identify, develop, expand, and manage consumer and business account relationships, concentrating efforts on meeting customer needs for financial products.c.Identify customers with additional profit potential and develop action plans to expand these relationships. Refer business to all partners.d.Addresses customer questions and concerns; refers to appropriate internal resources for resolution. Act with integrity, demonstrate adaptability, work commitment, and maintain a positive performance in all situations.e.Actively participate in ongoing training. f.Assist with the daily operations of the branch including reporting, ATMs, coin machines and the main cash vault. Assist with preparing cash for shipments.g.The ability to develop a complete working knowledge of all bank systems required to perform teller transactions and platform duties including the use of a PC and calculator, as required to efficiently perform the job.h.Process a variety of routine and complex transactions including but not limited to account opening and closing, processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments and transfers.i.Position requires flexibility and willingness to travel to other locations/branches within your region and to adapt to schedule changes during the workday to include evenings and Saturdays or Sundays. j.Demonstrate knowledge of policies and procedures and the ability to apply this knowledge in real situations.k.Maintains awareness of current fraud alerts; identifies fraudulent activity to prevent potential losses.l.Maintains current knowledge of new products and services.m.Participates in weekly branch meetings.n.Completes daily ATM proof, end of day closing procedures.2.Coordinates specific work tasks with other personnel within the branch office as well as with other Bank departments to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of information.3.Abides by the current laws and organizational policies and procedures. Promote an environment that is free of harassment and other forms of illegal discriminatory behavior in the workplace.4.Cooperates with, participates in, and supports adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices. This requirement is in support of risk management and the overall safety, and soundness of the Bank’s compliance with all regulatory requirements, e.g. Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act., etc.Ancillary Duties1.Performs tasks that are supportive in nature to the essential functions of the job, which may be altered or re-designed depending upon individual circumstances
