ARAMARK Maintenance Worker - Lakewood School District Facilities in Lakewood, New Jersey
Job Description
Aramark is hiring a Maintenance Worker to support Facilities operations across the Lakewood School District . This role is responsible for performing a wide range of general maintenance, repair, and special project work to keep school buildings safe, functional, and well maintained for students, faculty, and staff.
This position is well suited for a multi-skilled maintenance professional who is comfortable handling varied tasks, moving between school sites as needed, and supporting both routine repairs and special projects.

Shift Availability: AM and PM availability required

Job Responsibilities
Perform general building maintenance and repairs , including:
Doors, windows, and locks
Minor appliance repairs
Office and classroom equipment
Flooring repairs and basic surface work
Repair and replace fixtures and hardware as needed
Assist with special projects , renovations, and school setup needs
Move furniture, equipment, and materials between school buildings as required
Inspect assigned areas and proactively address maintenance issues
Complete daily, weekly, or project-based maintenance tasks as assigned
Respond to maintenance requests and work orders in a timely manner
Use tools and equipment safely and efficiently
Maintain a professional, customer-focused attitude with school staff and coworkers
Follow all Aramark safety policies , procedures, and district guidelines
Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications
Previous maintenance experience preferred
Ability to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks
Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
