Aerotek Welder - Entry Level in Lakeville, Minnesota
Welder - 1st/2nd/Weekend shifts - Up to $35/hr - Entry-Expert level candidates welcome!
Join our dynamic and growing team as a Welder , where you will primarily perform MIG welding on mild and stainless steel to fabricate high-quality exhaust systems. Our products serve a wide range of industries, including power generation, oil & gas, marine, locomotive, construction, and off-road markets .
While tack welding and assembling exhaust components will be part of the role, the primary focus is on custom and production-style MIG welding in a modern, well-equipped facility.
Key Responsibilities
Perform MIG welding on mild and stainless steel to manufacture exhaust systems
Tack weld and assemble exhaust components as required
Read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols to ensure accurate fabrication
Participate in a variety of shop tasks to support continuous learning and skill growth
Assist with fabrication operations, including use of:
Brake press
Shear
Roller
Essential Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience with MIG welding , including stainless and mild steel
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols
Hands-on experience with metal fabrication and welding techniques
Preferred Skills
Experience with plasma cutting and wire-feed welding
Familiarity with tape measures, brake presses , and general fabrication tools
Welding experience gained through school, farm work, or prior employment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lakeville, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $33.00/hr.
