ManpowerGroup General Office Maintenance and Warehouse Assistant in Lakeland, Florida
Our client, a government agency specializing in regional support and logistics, is seeking a dedicated General Service Assistant to join their team. As a General Service Assistant, you will be an integral part of the Operations Department supporting various logistical and maintenance functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, proactive communication, and a positive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: General Service Maintenance Assistant
Location: Lakeland, FL
Pay Range: $15.50
Shift: 7-8am to 4-5pm, Monday through Friday
What's the Job?
Log and report your time accurately to ensure proper documentation and accountability.
Follow directives from supervisors and team leaders to complete daily tasks efficiently.
Maintain and account for Personal Protection Equipment and DSNAP inventory and distribution systems.
Ensure compliance with vehicle management policies, including maintaining state vehicles and submitting monthly logs.
Assist with the maintenance of Emergency Response Vehicles & Trailers and support department needs such as internal and external moves.
What's Needed?
Ability to manage multiple tasks with an open mind and manage your time effectively.
Strong communication skills, including phone and email correspondence.
Basic understanding of safety procedures and equipment handling.
Willingness to assist with facility inspections, equipment moves, and safety checks.
Comfortable working in a dynamic environment and adapting to various responsibilities.
