Lakeland Area Mass Transit District d/b/a Citrus Connection Customer Service Representative (CSR) in Lakeland, Florida
SUMMARY:
This
position
provides
front
line
assistance
to
clients,
customers
and
the
general
public.
It also
involves
work
with
considerable
contact
with
the
public,
by
telephone
,
in
person and via email.
The physical location of this position will be based on a vacancy in one of three Citrus Connection Customer Service locations.
ESSENTIAL
JOB
FUNCTIONS:
1.
Provides customer service to both internal and external customers, clients, and the general public in the
form
of
providing
transit
information
such
as
services,
routes,
schedules,
fares,
and
District
rules/regulations.
2.
Upon request, provides best possible routes and schedules for customers; answer inquiries and provide
information
to walk-in customers.
3.
Computes
and
quotes
rates
for
trips
using
published
rate
tables.
4.
Collects
money, makes
change
and
issues
receipts.
5.
Deals
with
difficult
customers
in a
positive manner
in
phone, in
person and via email.
6.
Distribute
written
materials
including
mail and
other
related
items.
7.
Other
duties
as
assigned.
SUPERVISORY
RESPONSIBILITIES:
This
position
has
no
supervisory
responsibilities.
MINIMUM
JOB
REQUIREMENTS:
High school degree or G.E.D.; one (1) year of directly related experience desired in customer services, sales, reception, and/or general clerical duties. An equivalent combination of education and experience that is determined to be directly related to the specific
