Summary This National Guard position is for a SURFACE MAINTENANCE SPECIALIST, Position Description Number D1254000 and is part of the NJ G4 SMM, National Guard. The primary purpose of the work is to analyze and evaluate maintenance operations, production, and procedures; and make recommendations for improvement. This requires practical knowledge of, and skill in applying, principles, concepts, and methods of surface maintenance equipment, facilities, and service operations. Responsibilities As a SURFACE MAINTENANCE SPECIALIST, GS-1601-9, you will: Analyzes and resolves a variety of conventional maintenance management problems to improve existing maintenance operations, production, and practices that impact the overall maintenance program.
