Operate fixed-wing agricultural aircraft to apply fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides, fungicides, and other crop-production materials to agricultural fields in accordance with\ federal, state, and local regulations. Duties include, but are not limited to, the following: operate fixed-wing agricultural aircraft for low-altitude aerial application of crop-\ production materials (crop-dusting) over designated farm fields; conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections of aircraft, including checks of airframe, engine, spray\ systems, avionics, and safety equipment; accurately follow application maps, GPS guidance systems, field boundaries, wind conditions, temperature inversions, and\ pesticide label requirements to ensure precise and lawful application; communicate with ground crews regarding chemical mixing, loading, weather conditions, field\ readiness, and operational safety; maintain accurate flight logs, application records, and regulatory documentation required by the Federal Aviation Administration\ (FAA), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), applicable state agencies, and other governing authorities; assist with routine aircraft maintenance, cleaning,\ fueling, and hangar organization as part of normal agricultural aviation operations (major mechanical repairs are not required); comply with all FAA regulations\ applicable to agricultural aircraft operations, including licensing, medical certification, and flight safety standards; observe and follow all pesticide handling,\ environmental protection, and worker-safety requirements, including use of required personal protective equipment; perform agricultural aviation services on a seasonal\ and weather-dependent schedule, which may include early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and extended hours during peak crop-treatment periods, and variable\ daily flight hours; work outdoors in rural environments subject to extreme heat, humidity, dust, noise, vibration, and varying weather conditions typical of agricultural\ production. Employer may request but may not require worker to work on his or her Sabbath.

Six (6) months of agricultural aerial application flight experience required, three (3) months of\ which must include turbine-powered agricultural aircraft. Must have all applicable federal and\ state licensing as required by law and a current FAA Class 2 flight physical.
