FlexStaff is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to work for one of our clients, a nonprofit agency providing comprehensive health, social wellness, and housing services for vulnerable, low-income, or disabled populations, with their mobile team (ACT) in Queens, NY.
This is a permanent, full-time job offering benefits.
Requirements:
Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse by the New York State Education Department.
Valid and clean NY State driver license.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 35 hours per week.
In this role you would be responsible for providing management and administration of medications, in conjunction with the psychiatrist, as a member of a mobile, multidisciplinary treatment team for persons with severe mental illness and forensic involvement.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments, including mental status evaluations.
Assess and monitor physical health needs, making appropriate referrals to community physicians.
Coordinate medication management and administration in conjunction with a psychiatrist.
Participate actively as a member of an interdisciplinary team, delivering integrated, personalized treatment, rehabilitation, and support services.
Provide the majority of services in community settings, including participation in a rotating 24-hour crisis coverage and response system.
Ensure full compliance with agency policies, including the Compliance Plan and False Claims Policy, and all relevant federal, state, and local regulations.
Proficiently utilize all agency-specific IT applications relevant to the role.
Maintain current knowledge of best practices and developments within the field.
Perform other duties as assigned to support program objectives.

The salary range for this position is $80000.00-$80000.00/year
