Compensation: $16.90 per hour | Full-Time | Monday-Friday (regular hours with possible overtime)
Seeking a dedicated Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Manager to lead all aspects of shipping and receiving operations at our New Braunfels, TX facility.
This is a hands-on leadership position within a fast-growing company that values efficiency, reliability, and teamwork. The successful candidate will complete a 90-day training program at our Lake Isabella, CA warehouse under the guidance of our current manager before relocating to Texas for long-term employment.
Please note: No housing will be available in Lake Isabella during the training period.
During the transition to Texas, temporary housing will be provided with the company owner, and you will assist in rehabilitating a studio apartment located on-site at the Texas warehouse.
Responsibilities
During training in Lake Isabella, you will learn all warehouse processes, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment. You will gain a thorough understanding of company standards for packaging, labeling, and documentation, coordinate with our Pennsylvania warehouse to ensure consistency, and shadow the current manager to develop leadership and operational skills.
Once relocated to New Braunfels, you will oversee daily warehouse operations, including opening and closing the facility, supervising shipping and receiving activities, and ensuring timely and accurate processing of all shipments. You will maintain inventory accuracy through regular audits, oversee loading and unloading of trucks, verify shipment contents, and prepare shipping documents in compliance with carrier requirements. Communication with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams will be essential, as will close coordination with the Pennsylvania warehouse and corporate leadership. You will report daily operations and provide updates on inventory and shipping status to management.
Qualifications
Candidates should have previous experience in warehouse operations, shipping, and receiving, along with strong organizational and leadership skills. The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in basic computer applications and inventory systems is expected, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
