JOB REQUIREMENTS: Cook I at Grand Geneva Resort & Spa and Timber Ridge Lodge & Waterpark Start Date: April 1, 2026 End Date: January 3, 2027 Grand Geneva, LLC d/b/a Grand Geneva Resort & Spa and Timber Ridge Lodge & Waterpark, located in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin seeks eight (8) full-time, temporary Cooks I who will be responsible for preparing, seasoning, and cooking soups, meats, vegetables, desserts, and other food items in both restaurant and banquet kitchen settings, cleaning and sanitizing work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, or silverware, and removing trash. This includes working in high-volume environments to support large-scale events, ensuring food quality and presentation meet established standards, and coordinating with the culinary team to deliver timely service for plated meals, buffets, and catered functions. Will report directly to the Executive Chef at Grand Geneva Resort & Spa and Timber Ridge Lodge & Waterpark. Twelve (12) months of line cook experience in a high-volume environment with basic knife skills. Applicants must complete pre-employment background check at employer\'s expense. All worksites located in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. Travel throughout this area is required. Transportation between worksites is not provided, but all worksites are within walking distance of each other. Daily transportation to and from worksite is provided via company van or trolley. On-the-job training is provided. Wage: \$17.25 \$19.30 per hour, paid bi-weekly. Overtime is available at \$25.88 \$28.95 per hour. Employees are eligible to receive additional compensation through a referral bonus program. Schedule: 35 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 5:00am 12:00pm, 2:00pm 9:00pm, or 11:00am 6:00pm. Shift hours may vary. A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Optional housing is offered on a first-come, first-serve basis for workers who are relocating to begin employment. Cost of housing, if accepted, is \$150.00 per week. If used, total cost of housing will be paid directly to employer. A \$200.00 refundable security deposit is required, to be paid directly to the employer within the first two (2) weeks of employment. Additional, optional benefits may be offered to worker, for worker\'s sole benefit, including but not limited to Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401K, and other elective benefits. If voluntarily elected by worker, employee costs/contributions for benefits will be deducted from paycheck. All deductions from paycheck required by law will be made. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will pay directly for and/or reimburse workers for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker\'s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The employer will pay directly for and/or reimburse workers for all reasonable inbound transportation and subsistence costs within the first workweek. The employer will pay directly for and/or reimburse workers for all reasonable outbound transportation and subsistence costs during the last workweek. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of \$16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of \$68.00 per day with receipts. The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period. The e ployer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.
