About the role
Responsible for the execution of portfolio and project management administration in alignment with EPMO standards and governance. Provides ongoing support to portfolio and project managers to ensure consistent adherence to governance requirements. Administers, supports, and maintains project management tools to ensure they function effectively and enable accurate reporting, process execution, and portfolio transparency. Ensures the effective adoption and integration of project management tools, aligning them with the organization's evolving needs and providing robust technical support and training to project teams.
Key Accountabilities:
Project Management Delivery and Governance
Execute project management governance activities in alignment with EPMO standards, policies, and lifecycle requirements.
Support project managers in the consistent execution of projects with respect to required governance, reporting, and compliance activities across the project lifecycle.
Perform operational governance checkpoints to ensure required artifacts, data, and approvals are completed accurately and on time.
Monitor project adherence to EPMO standards and proactively identify, address, and escalate compliance gaps or execution risks.
Provide hands‑on delivery support to project managers to enable effective execution of portfolio, financial, and status reporting requirements.
Support governance audits, reviews, and management reporting by ensuring project data quality, completeness, and traceability.
Project Management Tool Administration
Administer and maintain enterprise project management tools to ensure stability, reliability, and effective use.
Configure project sites, templates, resources, and access permissions.
Support tool enhancements and process builds to enable governance compliance, accurate reporting, and efficient portfolio management.
Maintain daily operations and functionality of project management tools, proactively addressing and escalating issues.
Recommend, develop, and execute technology and template modifications/advancements to support enterprise needs.
Set up and manage appropriate user rights and access permissions (users, groups, categories).
Project and Professional Relationship Management
Maintain highest standards of customer service and business professionalism.
Build and sustain positive relationships across projects and Business Unit, reinforcing a positive environment of collaboration and respect
Act with integrity – treat others with respect, follow through on commitments, own mistakes, and earn trust as a leader
Utilize position and influential powers to engage others in support of project and EPMO success
People Development

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years of related experience.
Solid project management background.
Proven track record of successful planning, management, and analysis of complex project portfolio data.
Strong collaboration skills and ability to influence.
Proven communication skills; both written and verbal with technical and non-technical staff and all levels of management.
Experience in using project and portfolio management tools, processes, and technology.
Technical Experience in OnePlan, Project Server and SharePoint or similar PPM tool.
Proficient in Microsoft Windows applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Preferred:
Experience or working knowledge of PMO operations.
Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, operations, finance, etc.
Change Management and Business Process Reengineering experience/exposure.
The compensation range for this role is (based on the corporate location in Lake Forest, Illinois):
$81,274.30 - $117,396.33 per year
The final salary offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for bonus. We understand that compensation is an important factor when considering a new opportunity, and we strive to provide a competitive salary within the market.
