Production Machine Operator
CAC, a manufacturer located in Lake Forest currently has openings for short-cycle Production Machine Operators with experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. We are looking for someone who is a motivated team player with a great attitude. If you possess the required experience, a strong can-do attitude, have a knack for accuracy and efficiency and work great within a team environment, we’d like to meet you!
What you'll do each day...
Responsible for short cycle machine operations associated with quantity production of identical units
Pull and cut orders (paneling, punch press, drilling)
Start and stop machine, load/feed the machine and watch machines operations to ensure smooth operation
Monitor production to ensure quality and perform verifications and inspection of the product and the machine
Ensure equipment is in top operational performance by calling for repairs when needed
Complete proper transactions for each job
Label material with correct designations
Ensure job and materials are of good quality
Meet or exceed customer’s specifications as outlined on the manufacturing order
Any other tasks or responsibilities assigned by his or her supervisors

4/10 Schedule, 5:00am - 3:30 pm
One year machine operation experience
Experience and knowledge of machinery and/or tools
Excellent team player and positive work approach
Detailed oriented and quality focused
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Must pass the Drug Test and Background Check
