Onward Search Education connects educators, therapists, and school professionals with schools nationwide. We’re partnering with a district in Cook County, IL to hire an Occupational Therapist for Extended School Year (ESY) services.This role involves supporting students across EC–12 with fine motor and sensory needs in a collaborative school setting.
Position Details
Location: In-person, Cook County, IL
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:15 a.m. – 12:15 p.m
Duration: June 15, 2026 – July 26, 2026
Age Group: EC–12th grade
Responsibilities:
Provide occupational therapy services to support students’ fine motor and sensory processing skills.
Create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
Collect and analyze data on student IEP goals and progress.
Collaborate and communicate effectively with teachers, support staff, families, and IEP teams.
Complete fine motor and sensory profile evaluations and write detailed reports as needed.
Qualifications:
Illinois Occupational Therapist Licensure.
Experience in a school-based setting preferred.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to manage multiple student needs and priorities effectively.
Commitment to supporting student growth and independence.
