We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Superintendent to join our dynamic team. This position is rotation-based on project sites and involves leading crews and managing equipment through all phases of mobilization, operations, and demobilization.
Responsibilities
Ensure dredges, crews, and sites are following best safety practices.
Relay executive safety messages and discuss with the crews.
Review and act on all crew safety concerns.
Safely plan all work and logistical functions to avoid damages to pipeline and infrastructure.
Understand and enforce union contract obligations.
Manage logistics and coordination for any ancillary equipment on site.
Responsible for crew schedule with assistance of deck managers.
Review and approve crew payroll and travel.
Responsible for on-site inventory, assuring correct pipeline allotment, and tracking soundings per policy.
Perform on-site maintenance to all pipe, cubes, fittings, etc., and communicate deficiencies to maintenance for off-site maintenance.
Accurately track and place all subline installed and recovered on site.
Scout out yard facilities, access points, site features, etc., when first arriving on site.
Ensure adequate heavy lift areas, crew boat landing, and crew parking are secured.
Complete and distribute daily mobilization/demobilization brief.
Complete and QC all trucking and tow plans.
Oversee demobilization and ensure final clean-up and walk-through of all facilities is completed.
Understand and execute project in accordance with the cost and production estimates.
Ensure required training is arranged for crew.
Verify and follow up that site teams have the required tools and equipment for project execution.
Approve or reject NSE requests in a timely fashion.
Manage fuel for all plant on site.
Manage 3rd party vessel on/off hire and schedule all tug evolutions.
Enforce company policy and procedure with crew.
Essential Skills
At least 5 years of relevant experience in dredging and/or marine construction.
Experience in waterside crane operations.
Coordination of tug boats, including scheduling and managing tug evolutions and vessel logistics.
Expertise in marine logistics, including handling pipelines, tow plans, and site mobilization/demobilization.
Proven ability to lead and schedule hourly crews.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Marine Operations Experience is nice to have.
No certifications or additional experience required beyond core skills.
Not oil and gas focused position.
Rotation schedule: 14 days on / 7 days off.
Flexible: Candidates who want to work longer rotations will be accommodated.
Travel position: Must be willing to travel to multiple project locations.
Work Environment
You’ll be joining a collaborative team that values safety, efficiency, and professionalism in a dynamic marine construction environment. The team size varies by project but typically includes experienced crew members and support staff working together to deliver high-quality results. The dress code is practical and safety-focused, requiring appropriate PPE for all site activities. This is a rotation-based position with a schedule of 14 days on and 7 days off, and flexibility for longer rotations if desired. As this is a traveling role, you’ll work at different project sites, offering variety and exposure to unique marine operations.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $49.00 - $54.00/hr.
