Position Summary
The Accounting Specialist will support the Finance department by managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and assisting with reporting and compliance. This role requires strong attention to details, organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Responsibilities
General Accounting
Prepare journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
Intercompany accounting, reconciliation and management
Accounts Receivable
Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on collections.
Taxes and fiscal declarations
Team support on:
Witholding Taxes, Tax exempt declaration, virtual stamp
Yearly TP Document
F24 for tax payment
Intrastat
Financial Reporting & Analysis
Support preparation of financial statements and management reports.
Assist in variance analysis and budget tracking.
Compliance & Audit Support
Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
Provide documentation and support for internal and external audits.
Process Improvement
Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes.
Contribute to system enhancements and automation initiatives.
Position Requirements
Experience:
Experience in accounting or finance roles.
Familiarity with ERP systems and accounting software (SAP, or similar).
Skills:
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in MS Excel and data analysis tools.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Other Requirements:
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills for interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
