Robert Half Sage Implementation Administrator in Lahaska, Pennsylvania

Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Sage System Implementation Administrator to join their team on a project based contract in Lahaska, Pennsylvania. This role will be contract for 4-8 weeks and will support and complete the final phases of a recent system integration within Sage. This role will focus on backend configuration, data validation, workflow optimization, and ensuring the Sage accounting system is fully functional, stable, and aligned with business requirements post‑implementation. The ideal candidate has hands‑on Sage administration experience and is comfortable working in a project‑driven environment while partnering closely with accounting and IT stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the final stages of Sage implementation following a recent company integration

• Configure and maintain Sage modules to align with business and accounting requirements

• Validate data integrity, mappings, and historical conversions

• Troubleshoot system issues and resolve integration‑related challenges

• Optimize workflows, permissions, and system controls

• Partner with accounting, finance, and IT teams to finalize backend processes

• Document configurations, processes, and system changes

• Provide user support, training, and guidance as needed

• Assist with system testing, UAT, and post‑go‑live stabilization

• Serve as the primary point of contact for Sage system administration during the project phaseing.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience administering Sage accounting or ERP systems

• Strong understanding of accounting processes and financial systems

• Experience supporting system implementations or post‑integration clean‑up projects

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve backend system issues

• Strong data validation and reconciliation skills

• Comfortable working cross‑functionally with technical and non‑technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Sage Intacct, Sage 300, or similar Sage platforms

• Prior involvement in mergers, acquisitions, or system integrations

• Basic SQL or reporting experience within Sage

• Experience documenting system processes and controls
