Hana Factory Automation Corporation Sr. Molding Technologist (Multiple Openings) in Lagrange, Georgia
- Apply established mechanical engineering and manufacturing principles to assist with the setup, operation, testing, and improvement of injection molding and press manufacturing processes;
- Interpret and apply mechanical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and customer specifications to support production planning and process execution;
- Perform adjustments to molds, tooling, forming methods, press direction, machines, and process parameters to support part quality, manufacturability, production efficiency, and cost objectives;
- Assist in the design, fabrication, modification, and validation of molds, dies, and tooling used in stamping and injection molding, under the guidance and supervision of engineering manager;
- Conduct inspections and functional tests of molding and press equipment to identify mechanical issues, process deviations, and maintenance needs;
- Verify that molds, tooling, and manufactured parts meet specified mechanical requirements, dimensional tolerances, and quality standards;
- Assist with troubleshooting manufacturing and tooling issues by collecting data, analyzing process conditions, and supporting corrective actions;
- Coordinate with engineers and production personnel to clarify mechanical specifications and support manufacturability of automotive parts; and
- Provide technical assistance and hands-on support to technicians and operators during manufacturing operations.
Requirement:This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 2 years of experience as a Molding Technologist, Molding Engineer, or closely related in the automotive parts industry.
