Position Description:

We CGI seeking an experienced Fullstack Web Application Engineer to designed to streamline and centralize the management of pipeline operations. It provides team-based access control, project management, and artifact tracking, making it an essential tool for collaborative data and machine learning workflows. And it will be fast paced learning environment at one of our top healthcare clients.

Key Features

. Team-Based Access Control: Manage permissions and roles for different teams to ensure secure and efficient collaboration.

. Project Management: Organize and track projects, pipelines, and associated artifacts in a centralized system.

. Artifact Tracking: Maintain a history of machine learning models, datasets, and other critical assets.

This position can be located in Lafayette, LA, Bloomfield, CT, Raleigh, NC, Dallas, TX or Austin, TX in a Hybrid Model.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Responsible for building the project's foundation on AWS modules like ECS, ECR, ALB, Cloud watch connections, and S3 storage using code (IAC), deployments.

Responsible for Setting up the main app and adding secure Okta logins using Python and Fast API.

Responsible for Managing the database (PostgreSQL), creating schema, and moving data.

Responsible for Git merge, making sure team members' code merges correctly.

Acting as the main bridge between the onshore and offshore teams.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

At least minimum 5+ years of experience in:

Backend

. Python (FastAPI-based service development)

. REST API design and implementation

. SQL and relational data modeling

. PostgreSQL for primary data storage

. SQLAlchemy / ORM models for table mapping and relationships

. Alembic for schema migration workflows

AWS Cloud Services

. Amazon ECS for container orchestration and app runtime

. Amazon ECR for container image storage

. Amazon API Gateway for API management and routing

. Amazon RDS for managed relational database hosting

. Application Load Balancer (ALB) for traffic distribution

. Amazon S3 for artifact and object storage

Good to have:

Frontend

. React for UI development

. TypeScript/JavaScript for frontend logic

. Vite for local development and build tooling

. npm for package management

Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.

Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $80,600.00 - $172,400.00.
