Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to support a manufacturing operation in Lafayette, IN. This facility assembles rims paired with tires, which are built, packaged, and shipped. The layout includes two production lines with conveyor systems, and the role focuses on maintaining equipment safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on production equipment and conveyors.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Diagnose issues related to PLC‑controlled equipment (Mitsubishi).
Support robotic troubleshooting, primarily Fanuc robots.
Assist with equipment changeovers, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects.
Communicate effectively with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime.

Mechanical skills
Hydraulics and pneumatics knowledge
Preventive maintenance
Industrial equipment maintenance
PLC troubleshooting
Additional Skills & Qualifications
PLC knowledge, including basic logic understanding
Fabrication experience for occasional projects or repairs
Experience supporting conveyor‑based production lines
Open to candidates with a Maintenance Technology or Engineering degree
Equivalent hands‑on experience will also be considered

Work Environment
The position operates on a 1st Shift, Monday to Friday, from 5:30 am to 2 pm, with overtime required every other Saturday. The break schedule includes two 10‑minute paid breaks and one 30‑minute unpaid lunch.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
