Job Title: CNC Operator Job Description
We are seeking an experienced CNC Operator with 5 years of expertise in the setup and operation of CNC grinders, lathes, and milling equipment. The ideal candidate will excel at working from blueprint layouts and dimensions on drawings and be proficient in reading manual gauges.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC grinders, lathes, and milling equipment according to blueprint layouts and drawings.
Load, align, and set up machines as per drawing instructions.
Maintain quality production records.
Read and interpret blueprints and shop math.
Utilize machining methods and cutting tools effectively.
Demonstrate computer literacy for Statistical Process Control, CMM measuring, and CNC machining.
Essential Skills
5 years of experience in CNC setup and operations.
Proficiency with CNC grinders, lathes, and mills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and manual gauges.
Knowledge of machining methods and cutting tools.
Computer literacy for Statistical Process Control and CMM measuring.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
3-5 years of CNC experience.
Experience with mills, lathes, and grinders.
Proficiency in setup and changeovers.
Willingness to work 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Work Environment
The work environment is very clean and climate-controlled, promoting a family atmosphere. Employees work in teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and feedback. The dress code includes khakis and Venture polo shirts, with steel toes and safety glasses required. Shifts are available from 3 pm to 11:30 pm and 11 pm to 7:30 am.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of LADSON, SC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $28.00/hr.
