    Salary Range: $57,500 - $85,000/annually

    Job Summary:

    The School Age Behavior Support Team Coordinator supports students with behavioral, social, and emotional needs by coordinating school-based behavioral interventions and services. This role collaborates with teachers, administrators, behavior support staff, social workers, and families to design and implement behavior support strategies that foster positive student outcomes and maintain safe, supportive learning environments. The coordinator also supervises school-based behavior support staff, providing guidance and leadership to ensure consistent implementation of interventions and alignment with a shared program vision.

    Essential Job Duties:

  • Supervises, evaluates and coaches staff including: Behavioral Health Specialists, Behavior Techs, and classroom support staff. Ensure team members follow school policies, behavioral protocols, documentation requirements and professional standards.

  • Oversees team supervision in alignment with the union contract and collective bargaining agreement, balancing compliance with staff support and program objectives.

  • Works to develop proactive strategies to reduce incidents and promote positive behavior and adjusts behavioral strategies based on data and team feedback.

  • Develops and reviews behavioral data for school-based team meetings and presents behavioral data at Annual Committee on Special Education (CSE) meetings with school districts when applicable.

  • Work closely with administrators and school teams to maintain consistent behavioral expectations.

  • Oversees the collection and analysis of behavioral data by the Behavior Support Team.

  • Assists with coordinating staffing schedules, assignments and coverage to ensure appropriate classroom ratios are met.

  • Oversees Therapeutic Crisis Intervention for Schools (TCIS) implementation, ensuring staff are properly trained, maintain current certification, and consistently apply TCIS principles when supporting students.

  • Communicates and monitors compliance with agency policies and procedures

  • Schedules and conducts employment interviews and hiring process for behavior support staff assigned to School Age Programs.

  • Assists Principal to oversee the safe, quality daily operation of all schools

  • Completes written work with accuracy.

  • Performs all other job-related duties assigned by supervisor

    Education:

    Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Education OR Related Field

    Experience:

    Minimum Experience Required: at least 3-5 years of experience working in an educational setting.

    Supervisory experience preferred.

    Required License/Registration/ Certification:

  • Certified Trainer in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI)

  • Certified Trainer in Ukeru

    Physical Requirements:

    The overall nature of the position is sedentary requiring little physical effort with occasional light physical exertion required. There is little, if any, exposure to environmental conditions.
