Olympia Federal Savings Commercial Loan Officer III in Lacey, Washington

A qualified Commercial Loan Officer III candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in commercial lending with proven ability to achieve production goals. The Commercial Loan Officer will provide prompt, knowledgeable, exceptional service to commercial loan customers. Monitor and maintain commercial real estate loan portfolio including construction, interim, and permanent mortgages. Receive loan applications, order documentation, analyze, and submit for decision. Partner with Business Bankers to present options for full banking relationship. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Weekly meetings with Business/Commercial team to discuss pipeline, prospects, and coordinate closing/documentation/servicing needs. Advise individuals of OlyFed lending programs and quote loan interest rate and fees. Provide appropriate application forms and disclosures. Assist customers with completion. Request confidential financial and ECOA information from loan applicants, complying with state and federal lending regulations and Association loan policies. Facilitate loan applications to include financial analysis, credit presentation, and approval for Commercial Real Estate and Small Business loans. Analyze, evaluate, and prepare tax analysis cash flow reports on commercial loan and multiple non-owner-occupied loan guarantors that exceed aggregate loan balance limits. Monitor loan portfolio to ensure conformity with terms, ascertain developing trends, identify potential problems and to ensure loans are risk-rated properly. Communicate with senior leaders as necessary. Prepare initial loan modifications for servicing. Input data for HMDA/LARS report maintenance. Carry out Association business plan objectives Cross-sell Association products and services. Actively network and promote products at community and OlyFed sponsored events to facilitate growth, which are occasionally outside of normal working hours. Other duties as assigned. Requirements KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS: Excellent public and customer relations skills to effectively communicate with internal and external customers, determine their needs, and maintain their confidence. Thorough understanding of banking regulations and Association policies and procedures with demonstrated ability to interpret and apply policies and regulations quickly and independently. Organization and flexibility to prioritize workload in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment. Utilize analytical techniques and exercise independent judgment to identify strategies to solve problems and complex customer needs. Analyze complex financial documents, including various types of tax returns and financial statements. Understand financial analysis systems and document preparation. Exercise customer confidentiality and discretionary judgment. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills including the ability to clearly communicate and explain complex banking, lending and legal regulations and documents.
