Harbor Wholesale Coffee Field Service Technician in Lacey, Washington

Position Title: Service Technician - Everett, WA

FLSA Status: Hourly FT

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00/hr. DOE plus full benefits

Reports To: Coffee Program Manager

Shift Schedule (Days & Avg Hours): Monday -- Friday + Some Weekend (rotation - weekend service rotation is once every 5 weeks.)

Coffee Service Technician

Full-Time | Monday--Friday + Rotating Weekends | 40+ Hours

Do you enjoy working with your hands, solving problems, and making customers' mornings better---one cup at a time? We're looking for a Coffee Service Technician who's mechanically inclined, customer-focused, and ready to keep our coffee and beverage equipment running at its best.

What You'll Do

As a Coffee Service Technician, you'll be the go-to expert for installing, maintaining, and repairing beverage equipment at customer locations. Your work directly supports great customer experiences and helps grow our coffee business.

Your daily grind includes:

  • Installing, maintaining, cleaning, and repairing coffee brewers, cappuccino machines, hot plates, and related equipment
  • Troubleshooting mechanical, plumbing, and electrical issues
  • Ensuring all company equipment is working properly---or replaced when needed
  • Providing friendly, professional service at customer sites and through phone/email communication
  • Keeping clear communication with management and sales teams
  • Maintaining clean, organized workspaces at customer locations and in the shop
  • Following company policies, safety standards, and best practices
  • Pitching in with other duties as needed

What You Bring

  • Mechanical aptitude and experience with small appliances, plumbing, or electrical repair
  • Comfort using hand tools and testing equipment
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality
  • Comfort using a smartphone and email daily
  • A clean, professional appearance

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 1--3 months of related experience or training preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Prior equipment repair experience strongly preferred
  • Training or education in electrical, plumbing, or refrigeration is a plus---but not required

Physical & Work Expectations

  • Regular standing, walking, driving, bending, and reaching
  • Frequent use of hands for pushing, pulling, and fine manipulation
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment (up to 50 lbs regularly; more with assistance)
  • Moderate to high activity level in a fast-paced service environment

Licenses & Requirements

  • Valid Washington State driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
