Office Furniture Installer / Laborer / Benefits and On The Job Training
Pay: $18–$24/hour (DOE)
Job Description
We are hiring dependable Office Furniture Installers to join our commercial installation team. This role involves assembling and installing desks, cubicles, storage systems, and other office furniture at job sites throughout the Omaha area. Ideal candidates are reliable, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working with hand and power tools.

Responsibilities
Install desks, cubicles, office furniture, and storage systems
Assemble furniture using hand tools and cordless drills
Unload trucks and move materials into buildings and job sites
Read and follow blueprints, layouts, and assembly instructions
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Work efficiently while meeting quality and safety standards
Essential Skills & Experience
Proficient with common hand tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, tape measures)
Experience assembling or installing furniture
Ability to read and follow blueprints or installation instructions
Comfortable using cordless drills and basic power tools
Minimum 1+ year experience using hand tools
2+ years recent experience in a labor, construction, or skilled trades role
Additional Skills & Qualifications (Preferred)
Experience with basic construction tasks such as:
Framing
Carpentry
Drywall
Doors and hardware
Knowledge of inventory handling and furniture delivery
Foreman candidates:
3+ years of advanced construction or installation experience
Leadership or crew supervision experience a plus
Work Schedule & Environment
Monday–Friday , with occasional weekends depending on project deadlines
Typical shifts: 9–10 hours per day
Start times between 5:30–7:00 AM
End times around 4:00–4:30 PM
Occasional evening work ( 5:00–10:00 PM ) with 1–2 weeks’ notice
Some travel to Des Moines during slower periods in Omaha

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of La Vista, NE.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
